The day begins with an introduction from me, I'll share my own journey as a young entrepreneur and open a discussion with the children about the brands, creators and businesses that inspire them

This helps the children recognise what makes a business stand out and how entrepreneurs connect with their audience.

The children will then explore who they are as young entrepreneurs. I'll help them identify their values, what problems they want to solve, and what motivates them. From here, they choose how they want to work; independently, with a partner, or as part of a small team, just as real entrepreneurs do.

 The children will then start to develop their idea using guided prompts and thinking cards to spark creativity. They shape their product or service, identify who it helps, and think about what makes their idea different.

With their concept in place, they move into branding and marketing, creating a business name, early brand identity and exploring the best ways to reach their audience — whether this is through social media, email, websites or community networks.

The final part of the day focuses on pitch development, where the children will learn how to communicate their idea clearly and confidently. They will then present their pitch to a panel of entrepreneurs who may offer supportive and constructive feedback.

Finally,  the children will take part in a reflection and affirmation activity, helping them acknowledge their growth, believe in their abilities and visualise their future potential.

Although advertised as a one day programme, there is scope for this experience to be delivered over a certain time frame.
